To improve is to change,
to be perfect is to change often.
Keeping this philosophy in mind, Carmel keeps changing for its betterment.
In line with this idea, a Poster Making Competition was organized on the auspicious occasion of Carmel Feast Day on July 15, 2020 on the theme "CARMEL THROUGH THE YEARS" for the young and creative minds of classes 8th and 9th.
Carmelites have always been taught about the values and morals that are true to humanity. Every Carmelite has grown and accomplished feats, improving every passing minute. Over the years, Carmel has changed its practices, technology and infrastructure but it doesn't change its vision and roots of its ideology. This competition gave an opportunity to our angels to portray their thoughts and feelings with rainbow colours on the everlasting legacy the school has left.
The general instructions of the poster making competition included the use of A-4 size drawing sheets and any medium of art material, excluding cutting and pasting.
All the participants were to email their entries under a given time limit on July 15, 2020.
The entries were judged by two of our own very talented and insightful teachers, Ms Varsha and Ms Naaz.
The judging criteria consisted of the following:
-Depiction of the topic ( Carmel values and initiatives taken through the years )
-Neatness
-Presentation
-Drawing
Our exuberant students of both the classes 8th and 9th showed their dexterity through various illustrations and eternalized the spirit of this competition.
The results of the competition were declared on 19th July 2020, with the winners being:
